after fruitless shopping trips, totally out of shape clothes, weird cuttings and depression. i finally bought my new year clothes! hahaha for one day whateverr ok. don't rub it in. its a start. and so you see. my font is red-- to match my shirt. okok description. since i didn't tell what my glasses looked like yest. ok my top is the red esprit three quater sleeve one. with the two lines from each side of the front and the sleeves. and my skirts the demin lawman one. i think that needs to explanation. ok splendid. now everyone knows what i'm wearing on the first day of new year [or 2nd] and maybe to school or church. yippee! Went for the fever hotbuzz today. I think God touched me again. He made me realize things that have never occurred to me before. And realize how wrong I was. Serving and loving the poor is not about enjoyment. Not about convenience and preference. But giving everything I have. everything. not just what I have been doing. Giving them extras and praying for the Cambodians only when I’m really free and in the mood. Not giving them my all/


Since I came back from Cambodia, I've been talking about the dirty toilets, fun bathing experiences [in the dirty toilets] irritating Marian, funny stuff, and how I've been enjoying myself. But yet I forgot about the most important thing, and the very reason I was there; God. I failed to boast, or even think, of how God worked in me. How God showed Himself to me and what he did for me, us. And all the Cambodians. In Cambodia my doubts about Him were cleared. Questions I have been asking and asking. But yet never tried to listen for an answer. In those days He truly existed. I wanna go for a mission trip again this year.

oh and i have a balloon! first it was purple. and i blew it up nice and long. then we all started throwing our balloons all over. it was nice and prettyful. balloons everywhere! (: but thats how i lost my balloon. so then i caught another balloon, which was nice and orange and huge and hard and highly huggable. then the boy sitting behind me told me to give my balloon "to the new comer" so i gave it to him and the newcomer didn't want it and he gave it to his fren who tossed it away! my beautiful balloon! then they were all bursting balloons and i was very sad. ): but nvm. i have a replacement! :D

yea so this started yest when i told ting wei my observation about how mr jeowwears ralph lauren shirts everyday. and she said that he wore timberland pants. so of course i had to come up with more information.

1. find out the brand of his socks and shoes
2. count the legs on his shirt and find out if it was real.

so the brand of the shoes and socks were impossible as his shoes had no brand written on it and his socks , though high, were, well. covered. so we settled with counting legs. heck la i;m too type

• ting wei came to our seat and talked loads of crap. asking him to let us off doing the graph
• we all stared at his shirt
• i saw four legs, zoe saw three.
• i asked him for permission to go to the staffroom, all along staring at the legs.
• soe was staring like.. i dunno what
• then he exclaimed, "what are you all staring at arh!?"

thought the sermon was pretty meaningful. about being holy. i don't know. it seems really hard to think about being holy. like its the world we're living in! but then it came to me. whatever temptation we face, whatever difficulty we meet, we can overcome it. becuase God is always there. He cares for us and will never give us something bigger than we can handle. thinking about that makes me seem so much better. nothing is impossible with God around. (:

oh yes. one thing horrible bout today. my stomach still lurches when i thinking of it. erm the cary kuey tiao had, for ocne no queue and of course i bought some. but then i forgot to tell the uncle "no hum" or ham. howveer you spell it. and i bit into one by accident! i wasn't careful enough! it was truely gross. i puked. well i nearly did la. i stopped myself so nothing came out but, gross!! its like.. i don't know. blood. but smelly. yukyukyuk.
lesson learnt: always tell the char kuey tiao man not to put hums. don't assume he knows.


oh then there was this weird guy in yellow boots who kept asking me to buy drinks. i keep telling him no thankew and he doesn't wanna go away and even after he does he keep coming back. until this uncle was like.. "how many times you wanna ask her?" tuh. i shall never buy from him. anyway i usually only buy from those three people. heh
